The two desk jockeys fake their way into becoming spies with limitless limitations in this funfest that plays like a Bob Hope-Bing Crosby Road movie. John Landis (Trading Places) directs. The comedy cohorts team again in a movie that asks: What do Chevy Chase and Demi Moore get when a wrong turn lands them in a strange New Jersey burg? They get "Nothing But Trouble" (Side B), with Aykroyd as a cranky 106-year-old Justice of the Peace and John Candy playing a dutiful lawman. With direction by Aykroyd, appearances by members of hip-hop's Digital Underground, plus two more Aykroyd and Candy roles, this binge of giggles and guffaws is anything but predictable.
