PL/M - The PL/M programming language (an acronym of Programming Language for Microcomputers) is a medium-level language developed by MAA (later Digital Research) in 1972 on behalf of Intel for its microprocessors. PL/M is no longer supported by Intel, but aftermarket tools like PL/M-to-C translators exist (for examples, see External links, below).
PL/C - PL/C is a large subset of IBM's PL/I language, designed in the early 1970s at Cornell University. It was intended to be a teaching language and, while removing some of the more complex features of PL/I, it added extensive debugging and error recovery facilities.

Plaid (band) - Plaid is a British electronic music duo featuring Andy Turner & Ed Handley, taking their name from the different interweaving threads of plaid cloth. They are former members of The Black Dog and used many other names (such as Atypic and Balil) before settling on Plaid.
