PL/C - PL/C is a large subset of IBM's PL/I language, designed in the early 1970s at Cornell University. It was intended to be a teaching language and, while removing some of the more complex features of PL/I, it added extensive debugging and error recovery facilities.

PL/M - The PL/M programming language (an acronym of Programming Language for Microcomputers) is a medium-level language developed by MAA (later Digital Research) in 1972 on behalf of Intel for its microprocessors. PL/M is no longer supported by Intel, but aftermarket tools like PL/M-to-C translators exist (for examples, see External links, below).

PL-7 - The PL-7 air-to-air missile (PL stands for Pi Li, "Thunderbolt" in Chinese, the generic designation for all PRC air-to-air missiles) is the PRC version of the French Magic R.550 missile.

PL/S - PL/S, short for Programming Language/Systems, is a "machine-oriented" programming language based on PL/I. It was developed by IBM in the late 1960s as a replacement for assembly language on internal software projects; it included support for inline assembly and explicit control over register usage.
