Low-power broadcasting - Low-power broadcasting is the concept of broadcasting at very low power and low cost, to a small community area. These stations tend to serve small towns, if not completely rural areas in the United States, largely because they cannot fit into large cities already crowded by full-power stations.
Lean Government - Lean Government is a term used mainly in the United States and Canada for the belief that the State should employ only just as many people as are necessary to perform its tasks. The Lean Government concept favors a fairly small State, and Lean Government proponents generally believe that the government should cut out "waste" and "inefficiency" from the State, and are in favor of low taxes.
Box cut - A box cut is a small open cut created to provide a secure and safe portal as access to a decline to an underground mine. Generally the box cut is sunk until sufficiently unweathered rock is found to permit the development of the decline.
George Low - George Michael Low was born Georg Wilhelm Low on June 10, 1926, near Vienna, Austria. His parents were Artur and Gertrude Burger Low, small business people in Austria.
