Low-power broadcasting - Low-power broadcasting is the concept of broadcasting at very low power and low cost, to a small community area. These stations tend to serve small towns, if not completely rural areas in the United States, largely because they cannot fit into large cities already crowded by full-power stations.
Tie rod - A tie rod is a slender structural rod used as a tie and capable of carrying tensile loads only. Since the ratio of its length to the radius of gyration of its cross section is usually very large, it would buckle under the action of compressive forces.
TI-92 series - The Texas Instruments TI-92 calculator, originally released in 1995, was a large calculator with a QWERTY keyboard. Because of this keyboard, it was given the status of a "computer" rather than "calculator" by American testing facilities and cannot be used on tests such as the SAT, while the similar TI-89 can be.
TIE bomber - The TIE bomber, a spacecraft of the fictional Star Wars universe, is a larger, less maneuverable version of the TIE Fighter used for destroying larger Rebel ships and pinpoint planetary bombardment. It can carry large numbers of torpedoes, bombs, orbital mines or thermal detonators.
